About Protocol

Protocol is the official student-run, institute-level cybersecurity organization at AISSMS College of Engineering, Pune. Established to bridge the gap between academic curricula and industry execution, Protocol serves as a platform for engineering students to master digital defense, vulnerability assessment, and ethical hacking.

Building a resilient community of ethical tech leaders, researchers, and security innovators through hands-on technical bootcamps, CTF competitions, threat research, and industry masterclasses.

Key Initiatives & Activities

• HackData 2026 National CTF Finalists: Qualified for the offline finals at Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR in Web Exploitation, Cryptography, and Forensics.
• Cyber Hunt 2025: Flagship cyber puzzle competition with 141 participants across 47 teams.
• Cybersecurity 101 Bootcamp: 4-day intensive training in Linux CLI, Wireshark network analysis, and penetration testing.
• IdentityShield Cyber Security Summit 2026: Official institute delegation interacting with military and defense security leadership.
• HP x KGen Collaboration: Hardware security and interactive student sessions.
